Born in 1950 Linden has lived and worked mostly on the Eastern Eyre Peninsula at Verran. His parents owned Evendale 10km North of Verran near Tarragorra. Shifting at the age of 3 to Wainmast at Verran, collecting eggs and shifting sheep are strong first memories. Ken was noted for his Prime Lamb productions and training sheep dogs. 

1966 left school to work on fathers farm.Wainmast. Learnt farming skills, pro active learner. Sheep, wheat, barley, peas.

1970 crutching around district, some contract work including harvesting and weed spraying, shearing sheep.

1972 bought 2,000 acre farm Utunyah , married Lynette Faye Birkin, 4 children, Kym, Dwani, Reane and Brett

1980 married Petra Kelly, 4 children, Shane, Joshua, Daniel and Timothy
